Dr. Eric Paulsen has been practicing optometry since his graduation from Illinois College of Optometry in 1982. A native of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, he returned home to practice after graduation.

Of all the types of eyecare he practices, Dr. Paulsen particularly enjoys fitting people with contact lenses, working with children and treating pathology.

Qualifications

Dr. Paulsen is a therapeutically certified optometrist. He is licensed to treat eye diseases and to remove foreign bodies from injured eyes. Besides this certification, Dr. Paulsen continues to be committed to continuing education and frequently takes post graduate courses to keep up to date with advances in eyecare.

Professional Affiliations

Among his professional affiliations, Dr. Paulsen is a member of the Northeastern Wisconsin Optometric Society, the Wisconsin Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Paulsen has served as President of his local society, and held numerous committee positions in the Wisconsin Optometric Association.
